Contest Judges
Kelsie Tillage is rising Senior at Southern University Laboratory School with a 4.2 GPA. She is considering a communications and/or anthropology major in college. She is currently the Vice President of SGA, volleyball team at SULAB. She's the South Central Regional Teen Historian and Editor of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated.
Dr. Cara E. Tyson is a speech-language pathologist, educator, and researcher. She earned a bachelor of science in communication sciences and disorders from Howard University, a master of education, with specialization in autism and developmental disabilities, from The University of Texas at Austin, and a master of science and Ph. D. in speech-language pathology from Louisiana State University. Dr. Tyson holds a faculty position in speech-language pathology and teaches courses on early intervention, diagnostics, motor speech disorders, and autism spectrum disorder. In addition to her research and teaching responsibilities, Dr. Tyson owns a consulting company, Elevate SLP. She holds membership in several prestigious organizations including Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and The Links, Incorporated.
Troi Bailey-Ann Jefferson graduated with a Master of Arts Degree in Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, at Pepperdine University, Malibu, California on May 21, 2022. She graduated with a 3.98 GPA as an Honor Student. She plans to receive her Professional Counseling Licenses in the states of California and Texas, and continue her work as a phenomenal Therapist in schools, hospitals, community centers and Private Practice environments.
Channyn Stanley received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Textiles, Apparel, & Merchandising from Louisiana State University. She's currently pursuing her Master of Fine Arts degree in Luxury & Brand Management at the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD).
Additionally, Channyn works as a Senior Strategist for a global marketing agency where she identifies and determines creative solutions to improve businesses. She also owns a creative agency that develops branding, campaigns, and strategic planning for companies.

Ariel Celeste Johnson is a natural born wordsmith and maximum potential advocate. Ariel is currently serving as a Diversity Program Manager in Recruiting Events at Google. Prior to Google, Ariel established a successful sales + media research career at Viacom/Nickelodeon, NBCUniversal and Disney. Beyond her corporate 9-5 service, she passionately galvanizes growth for her clients via Celestial Content Creations. Ariel founded CCC in 2018 to fulfill the apparent need for writing, professional development and career consultation services for promising talent from underrepresented communities.
